GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR - Trilogy at Redmond Ridge (Redmond, WA)

Trilogy at Redmond Ridge, an upscale, resort-style, 55 and over, active-adult community, is hiring a qualified Group Fitness Instructor for a variety of fitness platforms and experience working with the older active adult community.

Trilogy at Redmond Ridge is a private, members only Club that offers an indoor pool, group fitness classes, fitness center, personal training and our very own Tranquility Spa that offers massage, facials, and waxing.

We are looking for someone who can provide cutting-edge group fitness instruction through a variety of entertaining, educational, and fun classes promoting fitness and positive self-esteem in a safe environment. They act as a fitness resource for class participants and maintain positive relationships with members to encourage continued class attendance.

$40/per Hour/Class

We are looking for someone to teach classes on weekends, and available to sub-fitness classes during the week. We are happy to work with the instructor’s skill and class level if it fits into the Trilogy standards.

The successful candidate should have the following experience and qualifications:

• Must possess a current certification.
• Must possess and maintain current CPR/AED certification.
• Have knowledge and/or training working with active older adults.
• Must be friendly, vibrant, and outgoing.
• Deliver an excellent workout experience to our members in each class.
• Adhere to the description of the class and modify the intensity for participants when necessary.
• Ensure class begins and ends on time.
• Teach respective classes on a regular basis.
• Must be well-versed in basic anatomy, kinesiology, contraindicated exercises, and exercise modifications & progressions for a variety of populations, especially older active adults.
• Must be eager to learn and continue professional development and education.
