Job Description
The Facilities – Recreation Attendant monitors resident and guest use of the clubhouse facilitiesfor adherence to the Rules & Regulations regarding facility use. In addition, will assist infunctions/duties relating to operation and maintenance of facilities.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for regular contact with residents and guests using the pool and clubhouse facilities
- Responsible for recording the pool occupancy every half hour
- Responsible for ensuring that residents and guests sign in before using the pool
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the club facility’s interior/exterior and its furniture andequipment which includes, however is not limited, to the following:
Clubhouse:
- Assist with set up and tear down of tables, chairs for Association meetings, events, and activities
- Clean up after Association sponsored events as needed
- Check for missing or damaged equipment; if found – report the condition to the Community Manager
Restrooms:
- Check for cleanliness throughout the day – report any major problems.
Pool/ Spa:
- Straighten pool area furniture
- Check water temperature twice daily
- Straighten pool area furniture
- Monitor trash cans, empty and replace bag as needed
General Duties (Interior):
- Informs residents and guests of Rules & Regulations as needed
- Requests members to sign in prior to using the pool area
- Empty wastebaskets/ trash cans as needed
- Report any shortage of supplies to the Community Manager
- Report any major (or structural) problems you notice
Building Exterior/ Parking Areas/ General:
- Inform residents and guests of Rules & Regulations as needed
- Conduct routine, daily, walk-throughs inspecting all clubhouse areas and correcting/reportingdeficiencies or problems as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Knowledge and Skills:
- Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
- Professional customer service skills.
- Interpretation and completion of verbal and/or written instructions at a proficient level.
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
- Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
Education:
Current High School Student or above
Compensation:$17-19 per hour plus free golf and pool; depending on experience.
