Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Clear and concise communication on the phone/radio, when speaking to residents, guests, and other staff members. Be able to listen attentively
- Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions, with use of limbs and extremities, and unimpaired vision, within ADA guidelines for reasonable accommodations
- Lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance, consistent with RPM policies and procedures
- Must be appropriately dressed and groomed
- Must clean up after oneself, including emptying garbage at the end of the shift
Core Duties, Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Provide friendly, professional, and personable customer service
- Report any type of suspicious behavior to the office or notify the police, if necessary
- Gate personnel will remain alert at all times, ensure that all vehicles entering the property are identified as residents or verified guests or vendors
- Assist residents in emergency situations
- Keep a log of all activities and provide the same daily to the Community Association Manager. See the Gate Manual for more details
- Notify residents when guests arrive, issue guest parking passes, with dates and unit number clearly identified
- Work as a team with the Concierge, Property Manager, Maintenance Team, Gate Supervisor, etc
- Safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with RPM’s internal procedures and policies as well as all related employee handbooks and training/safety manuals
