Job Description

As the Front Desk Manager, you will be the first impression for our owners and guests upon arrival and throughout their stay.

 

Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekend and holiday coverage.

 

Duties include but not limited to:

 

  • Oversee the Rec Center staff, training of employees and scheduling of the Rec Center staff
  • Possess strong communication skills including the ability to deal effectively with a diverse group of employees and guests.
  • RCI representative for our resort, approve owners request and input incoming RCI guest
  • Knowledge of RDP reservation software is a bonu
  • Ordering and inventory for front office supplies within allowed budget
  • Handle continuous requests in a fast-paced environment by coordinating with other departments to ensure all guest requests are met
  • Ensure all front desk checklists and procedures are followed and review daily work of staff member
  • Monthly deposit
  • Support the goals of the resort through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
  • Ensure the highest degree of guest service and professional conduct at all times. Utilize service skills to ensure that all needs and issues of the guests are met promptly and with complete satisfaction.
  • Respond to in-person/phone/email inquiries regarding reservations and hotel information.
  • Resolve guest complaints in a timely manner.
  • Assist with maintaining the reservation systems.
  • Build strong relationships and communicate with owners of the resort.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

 

Requirements

 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
  • High school diploma High School Diploma or GED Required
  • 0 - 3 years of directly related or closely related experience
  • Previous hospitality Front Desk Manager experience is preferred.
