Description
CantaMia at Estrella is an active adult 55+ community located in Goodyear, Arizona. The central hub of activity is the 29,000 square-foot Village Center. This spectacular facility boasts a large, state-of-the-art fitness center with an aerobics studio, residents also enjoy indoor and outdoor pools and a spa. The Village Center also features a Café for residents and guests to enjoy food and beverage, and we are seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor onsite within this Café.
Primarily responsible for managing the daily operations of an onsite café within a Homeowners Association community which includes staffing, ordering, preparing and serving food and liquor to guests and residents.
Position Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily café operations.
- Hot & Cold Line Cooking.
- Menu planning to include seasonal dishes and special events.
- Coordinate special events with Lifestyle Director, Homeowner or community Clubs.
- Hiring, scheduling and training of café staff.
- Food preparation including cleaning, cooking, and serving food while adhering to Food Safety Standards.
- Conducting and scheduling preventative maintenance on all equipment.
- Order and stock items related to the café.
- Maintain inventory on all food, liquor and paper goods.
- Accountable for all inventory and cost control.
- Assist Community Manager with budgeting and forecasting.
- Other related duties as directed.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
