Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

Manage food and beverage service outlets. Provide informal and fast food services. Maintain cleanliness. Supervise employees, order supplies, implement controls and manage effectively to ensure that budgeted food, labor, supplies and other cost goals

 

are maintained.

 

Overview of Responsibilities:

 

Provides excellent customer service to club members and guests at all times. Collaborates with the Events Coordinator on Club Membership or Private Events. Manages ordering and receiving. Oversees cash handling, reconciliations, point of sale, and signage. Manages working schedules and is responsible for staffing. Insures that all ABC laws and requirements are enforced by staff. Insure that all State and County regulatory permits and licenses are displayed as required.

 

Job Tasks (Duties):

 

  • Establish, Inventory and Control and Maintain Par Stock Levels
  • Establish and Maintain an inventory control system for F & B to minimize expense, spoilage and loss.
  • Ensure proper ordering and timely submissions all F & B ordering, using established Order Guides.
  • Receives stock orders and rotate stock appropriately
  • Assist in any special orders for Club or Private vents
  • Cash Handling/Reconciliation
  • Point of Sale/Signage
  • Schedule and Supervise Staff
  • Insure that Cabana and Cove café are clean and organized at all times. Wipe and sanitize all counter tops & sinks, keep floor and walls clean at all times. Sweep and mop floors. Keep all equipment, machines and appliances clean at all times.
  • Provides food & beverage service of the best quality in accordance with the menu. Assists with the production and service of food and beverage products as necessary.
  • Insure to check I.D. for individuals who appear to be under the age of 35 when serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Inspects Club facility to ensure that sanitation, safety, energy management, preventative maintenance and other programs are in place in area(s) of responsibility.
  • Assist in developing outlet budget and monitors to ensure that financial goals are attained
  • Restock food and beverage product as needed.

 

Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years customer service experience
  • 2 years supervisor/managerial experience
  • 2 years food and beverage experience
  • Knowledge of State ABC laws and requirements
