The Financial Analyst, Commissions will be responsible for participating in our end-to-end incentive-pay processes, ensuring consistency and accuracy in programs administered, managing processes within the Xactly commissions system and providing world class customer service to commissionable AppFolians.

Your impact

  • Be familiar with the commissions system, relevant commissions processes, and business partners:
  • Schedule introductory meetings, and begin developing relationships with all appropriate business partners.
  • Understand the intent, function, and unique calculation of Business Development Representatives and Investment Management plans for all plan participants.
  • Understand and own processes for calculating commissions for the plans both in Excel as well as within the commissions system, and then how to validate and reconcile all calculations.
  • Understand the current state of reporting and develop recommendations for improving and adding value.
  • Take ownership of monthly processes
    • Take ownership of calculating, paying and reconciling Business Development Representatives and Investment Management plans and SPIFs.
    • Implement recommendations identified for added value in the reporting and forecasting process. Produce meaningful reports both within the commissions system and Excel that can be used to validate whether commissions are or are not accurately paying for performance.
  • Take ownership of optimizing and managing compensation reporting and analysis
    • Create or refine sales leadership facing reporting, analyzing employee performance to plan (attainment reporting) both in the commissions system as well as in Excel.
    • Partner with the Commissions team on continued improvements to reporting, analysis, and processes. Proactively recommend what information is available, and how it can be pulled together in a way that is meaningful to decision makers.


Qualifications

  • Ability to exercise discretion, judgment, tact and poise in handling highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong analytical skills with the highest level of attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; knows how to tailor a message based on the audience as well as build effective partnerships and relationships at all levels
  • Strong problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to proactively find opportunities and solutions without specific step-by-step instructions
  • Highly organized and motivated with the ability to work on multiple projects while delivering quality results in a timely manner. Understands and is comfortable with asking for help when needed.

Must have

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years experience with a commissions systems is required, preferably Xactly experience
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel required; experience with Salesforce preferred

Nice to have

  • Proven ability to master new systems and applications quickly
  • Experience with WorkDay
  • Experience with commission plan development

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary/hourly wage that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $79,000.00-$118,000.00.

The actual base salary/hourly wage for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc.

Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses/commissions that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
