Summary: The Facility Monitor, under moderate supervision, oversees the clubhouse area for adherence to the Rules & Regulations regarding facility use as well as the maintenance and cleanliness.

Requirements

Shift:

  • Part-Time

Weekends

Schedule - 6:30 am - 1:30 pm, 1:30 pm – 9:00 pm, and 1:30 pm – 10:00 pm

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

General Duties (Interior):

  • Inform residents of rules and regulations as needed.
  • Requests proof of membership by requesting to verify Association-issued photo ID cards.
  • Clean the interior and exterior of all accessible glass windows and doors.
  • Sweep and mop/ polish non-carpeted floors.
  • Spot clean/ vacuum carpet as needed.
  • Keep furniture and decorations in proper order.
  • Spots clean any marks on walls.
  • Empty wastebaskets/ trash cans as needed.
  • Replace accessible burnt light bulbs.
  • Report any shortage of supplies.
  • Report any noticeable major (or structural) problems.
  • Make coffee throughout the day for the client.
  • Fix minor repairs throughout the facility.

Multi-Purpose Room

  • Set up and take down tables, chairs, and equipment for meetings, events, and activities following written or verbal instructions.
  • Assists volunteers with decor.
  • Clean up after all events have been finished.

Kitchen

  • Clean refrigerator and/or freezer as needed.
  • Load and/or empty the dishwasher as needed.

Billiard Area

  • Check for missing or damaged equipment; if found – report the condition to the Recreation Director.

Locker Rooms / Restrooms

  • Check for cleanliness throughout the day.
  • Check for water leaks and/or slip hazards.
  • Cut any locks left on the lockers overnight.

General Duties (Exterior)

  • Remove any trash/ debris on the grounds or in planters.
  • Sweep walkways daily; hose down walkways twice per week in accordance with daily/ weekly duties schedule.
  • Report any burned-out lighting or electrical problems.
  • Conduct routine, daily walk-throughs inspecting all areas and correcting/reporting deficiencies, or problems as needed.
  • Performance of additional duties and/or special projects as assigned.
  • Fix minor repairs throughout the facility.

Tennis Courts

  • Sweep courts daily.
  • Hose down courts in accordance with the daily and weekly duties schedule.
  • Check for any tears on the net – report any problems to the Recreation Director.
  • Check for any cracks or lifting in the surface of the court(s).
  • Assisting the client as needed.

Bocce Ball Courts

  • Sweep courts as needed and remove any debris.
  • Check for trip hazards or any other item in need of maintenance.

Pool/ Spa

  • Hose down the pool, spa deck, and pool furniture once a week.
  • Straighten pool area furniture, and close umbrellas nightly (remove and store in high winds or inclement weather).

Other

  • Practice and adhere to Keystone’s Core Values, Mission, and Vision.
  • Any additional job duties as required by the supervisor.

Qualification Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent client service orientation.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work well independently.

Education And/or Experience

  • At least 1 year in a customer Service-related role.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Work Environment

The work environment and physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

  • Ability to walk around the clubhouse facility in a reasonable time period.
  • Ability to sit, stand, push, pull, and operate business equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions - including low or high temperatures.
