Job Description

Our company is looking for a Facilities Manager to oversee all of our facilities. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are maintained and that our custodial and maintenance employees are trained. The ideal candidate will have a passion for excellence and will be able to inspire their team to exceed expectations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage facilities staff to deliver maintenance and operations services
  • Manage facilities new property and project planning tasks
  • Assist with the hiring of on-site and facilities staff
  • Direct contracted service providers associated with facility maintenance and operations
  • Develop policies and procedures for the use of supplies and facilities
  • Maintains safety records
  • Manages safety meeting material
  • Conducts safety meetings
  • Manages process for all work order and facility quotes when applicable
  • On-site HOA inspection of properties per Rules and Regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)
  • Knowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)
  • Knowledge of HVAC, including codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)
  • Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements
  • Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements
  • Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at an expert level
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, outlook and word programs
  • Professional customer service skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Must have a clean driving record as this person will be driving a company vehicle
  • ExperienceRequired:a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Facilities Management

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to:

Lifting (up to 50 pounds unassisted), bending, standing, climbing, crawling, reaching, kneeling, stooping, pulling, grasping, using hands and fingers or walking, clear vision (with/without corrective lens), clear hearing (with/without hearing device). Must have full range of motion. Must be able to handle materials safely.
