Taylor Management Company is actively seeking proficient and seasoned Community Managers across New Jersey. This pivotal role requires adept communication with property owners, residents, and the Board of Trustees, alongside overseeing various administrative functions essential for community operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with owners and residents, as well as the Board of Trustees, to address and resolve administrative matters through various communication channels.
- Initiate, draft, and submit work orders to coordinate maintenance and repair work efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of community grounds and buildings to uphold communal standards.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from Board members and participate in monthly meetings as necessary.
- Oversee capital projects, addressing unit owner concerns related to common areas, and facilitate conflict resolution with the board.
- Review and approve monthly financial reports for distribution to trustees and ensure comprehensive insurance coverage for the association.
- Organize and lead annual election meetings, collaborating with the board on budget planning and financial approvals.
- Enforce association rules and regulations, soliciting bids for contractor services as required.
- Maintain detailed project community records and incident reports, along with managing delinquency reports in accordance with collection policies.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in Community Association (COA) or Homeowner Association (HOA) management is essential.
- Strong project management capabilities and exceptional computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen ability to mediate conflicts effectively.
- Attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills are crucial for success in this role.
- A valid driver’s license is required, along with availability for emergency calls 24⁄7.
- Industry designations such as CMCA, AMS, PCAM, CPM, or ARM are preferred but not mandated.
