Taylor Management Company is actively seeking skilled and experienced Community Managers to join our dedicated team throughout New Jersey. As an integral part of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in fostering relationships within the community, ensuring streamlined operations, and enhancing the quality of life for residents.

Job Overview

In this position, you will be responsible for effective communication with homeowners, residents, and the Board of Trustees to address administrative matters, coordinate maintenance activities, and oversee the overall management of community associations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with owners/residents and Board members through various communication channels to resolve administrative issues.
  • Create, prepare, and submit work orders to facilitate maintenance and repair services.
  • Conduct regular inspections of community grounds and buildings to ensure standards are met.
  • Respond promptly to Board member inquiries and attend monthly trustee meetings as needed.
  • Manage capital projects and address unit owner inquiries regarding common areas and conflicts.
  • Review and approve monthly financial reports for distribution to trustees.
  • Ensure compliance with the association’s insurance policy, including proper coverage.
  • Prepare and conduct annual election meetings for the community.
  • Collaborate with the Board on budget planning and secure necessary approvals.
  • Review and authorize property bills while ensuring adherence to association documents and regulations.
  • Solicit bids and services from contractors to meet community needs.
  • Maintain organized records of projects and incident reports, along with addressing delinquency reports in accordance with collection policies.

Required Skills

  • Strong project management abilities with a proven track record.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with owners, residents, and Board members.
  • Capable of preparing and reviewing financial documents with accuracy.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and managing inquiries from unit owners.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Community Association (COA) or Homeowner Association (HOA) management.
  • Industry designations such as CMCA, AMS, PCAM, CPM, or ARM are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Availability for emergency calls 24⁄7.
  • Valid driver's license required.
