Job Description

The Executive Recruiter provides leadership, support, advocacy and vision to the hiring managers and support staff of KWPM. Responsible for interviewing and referring applicants for all exempt level positions throughout the Company. Considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all functions in the Company, a basic understanding of the Company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.

  • Lead recruitment efforts for the company which include; place job opening ads, attend industry related job fairs, partner with local universities' career center, and manage internal candidate database.
  • Evaluate departmental goals and metrics to ensure the department is functioning efficiently.
  • Support KWPM’s talent attraction strategy by actively engaging and building relationships with active and passive candidates in an effort to provide top talent for current and future vacancies.
  • Recruit for multiple levels of the organization and across various regions.
  • Attract and identify candidates through various channels: job boards, networking sites, social media, career fairs, and other creative recruiting methods.
  • Manage Applicant Tracking
  • Lead weekly pipeline calls with executive team
  • Conduct training for our hiring managers to ensure that KWPM core values are at the forefront of our selection and hiring process. Training will also include the legal implications of not hiring correctly.
  • Act as liaison with area employment agencies, preparation and liaison with advertising agencies, processing and checking advertising agency billings, liaison with temporary agencies, recording status of authorized positions within the corporations, employment verifications, employee referral program.
  • Responsible for all senior level positions
  • Develops new strategies and programs to attract candidates
  • Manages a team of 7 Talent Acquisition employees
  • Works closely with hiring managers to share best practices, provide assistance on critical

This position requires an extremely perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels. As unique situations present themselves, the incumbent must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the public image.

Supervisory Responsibility; This position manages the talent acquisition team and is responsible for the performance management of these employees.

 

Work Environment

This job operates from the Corporate office and will require some travel.

 

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, exempt - position.

 

Travel

This position requires occasional travel throughout the regions in which we have team members located for training and new client purposes. A valid FL driver's license is required.

Required Education and Experience

  • Prior experience in a related position.
  • Preferred Education and Experience;
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas and conduct training to a group of people

 

Reports to:

This position reports to the Human Resources VP with a dotted line to the Executive partner group.
