The Executive Admin to the SVP of Engineering ensures the success of the engineering department, focusing on the overall efficiency of the Engineering Leadership Team (ELT) and associated businesses. Provides comprehensive support and coordination of both daily tasks and strategic initiatives.

Your impact

  • Provide executive-level administrative support for the SVP of Engineering including, but not limited to, scheduling, meeting planning, and budgeting
  • Manage quarterly event planning
  • Manage projects and events efficiently within budget, scope, and on-schedule
  • Encourage the Engineering org to meet and exceed their team/org goals contributing to the growth of AppFolio
  • Enhance team culture through event planning/meetings to drive connection (SB, San Diego, Dallas, Remote)


Qualifications

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize working with various leaders and cross-functional partners in a fast-paced, team environment. Ensure details of projects, processes, initiatives, and the day-to-day are executed with high quality and efficiency.
  • Project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to navigate in a fast-paced & performance-oriented environment.
  • Generates and brings other’s new and creative ideas forward.
  • A strong team-player. Promotes a spirit of collaboration with others and gains the trust and support of the team.
  • Elevates the team and customer experiences in all decision-making.
  • Empower teams to solve business problems. Spend their time and focus the team on the critical few actions that are most important. Can eliminate roadblocks and demonstrate ability to say “no.”
  • Always operates with integrity, especially when faced with tough situations.


Must have

  • Minimum of 4 years experience supporting senior-level executives, preferably in a high-tech environment
  • Ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities
  • Experience managing highly confidential information and sensitive data with discretion
  • Flexibility, organizational, and time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks/projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, leaders and teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer orientation to both internal and external customers
  • Self-motivated, dependable with high attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and Slack
  • Co-located in the Santa Barbara office - in office at least 3 days per week.


Compensation & Benefits

The base salary that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is $95,000-$130,000.

The actual base salary for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc.

Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
