Action Property Management, a premier management company, is seeking a Full-Time Escrow Services Specialist to join our team at our corporate office located in Irvine, CA.

 

Compensation: $23.00

 

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Summary:

 

Process all new escrows, phase closings and transfer of ownership for all associations from inception to completion. Respond to written requests for documents and information on associations or specific homeowner accounts from escrow companies or mortgage lenders. May assist with management and developer billing and ad hoc support requests.

 

Examples of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Process Demand Statements
  • Complete homeowner certifications
  • Process change of ownership for sale transactions
  • Enter member listing for new associations
  • Accept and return homeowner/appraiser/loan processor escrow inquiry calls
  • Prepare phase closings and set up new owners included in phase
  • Conduct title search and verification
  • Copy escrow checks and pull demands
  • Make adjustments for new phase closings
  • Bill for any additional services provided to our clients which are not included in the standard contract
  • Assist co-workers within your department or others within the company as time permits
  • In special circumstances, overtime may be required in order to complete projects or meet deadlines
  • Anything else that may be necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the department

  • Ability and experience with handling difficult people
  • Self-starter with good organizational skills
  • Speed and accuracy in work duties

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Must be over 18 years of age and successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
  • Typing speed of 45 words per minute
  • Data entry experience
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum two years office related experience
  • Ability to clearly communicate questions, ideas, and concerns to supervisor

 

Preferred Skills:

 

  • Proficient with MS Word and Excel
  • Homeowner association experience
  • Escrow experience
