Job Description
Exceptionally Clean Facility/Operation for all guest and team members to enjoy and take pride in. Maintaining and cleaning all area of the operations as required or assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef on a Daily basis. The Dishwasher is expected to adhere to FSR standards and practices and authentically deliver the Latitude Margaritaville Lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Operate the industrial dishwasher
- Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
- Empty and clean all trash receptacles
- Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources
- Clean dish storage
- Follow sanitation policies at all times
- Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times
- Perform opening, closing and side work assigned
- Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
- Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate party
Technical competencies:
Education:
High school graduate or GED preferred
Experience:
- Excellent oral communication skills required
- Positive interpersonal skills required
- 1-2 years prior experience in a similar position
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Friendly demeanor
- Ability to stand for a long time and move quickly
- Communication skills (listening, verbal and written)
- Must be able to bend, stoop and reach, twist,
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
