POSITION OVERVIEW The Product Marketing Director is responsible for ensuring our sales team and customers are well-equipped to take our SaaS products to market successfully. Sitting at the intersection of the Sales, Marketing, and Product organizations, this position leads asset development and strategy development to effectively deliver our solutions to market. This position will be fluent with the competitive landscape and broader technology trends and will be able to synthesize this knowledge into data-driven and compelling product marketing that delivers business results. REMOTE OPPORTUNITY This role is eligible for remote work. Occasional travel may be required. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Work cross-departmentally with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to achieve key strategic goals Maintain a cohesive and consistent brand image that attracts customers and partnerships Proactively understand each product in-depth and the key features and roadmaps to create product position messaging, and Go To Market strategy Analyze, understand, and socialize competitive intelligence while generating competitive marketing collateral for Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams Build buyer personas and pain points and educate the Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams on those identities Establish analytical and quantitative Marketing and Success Metrics to drive improved revenue performance Collaborate with the Demand Generation team to create campaigns that will drive new prospects for the sales team and cross-sell opportunities for the existing client base Guide and direct the Creative Team to deliver marketing assets and sales enablement materials Actively identify and mitigate risks that could have a negative impact (revenue or time) on the product budget, timeline, or deliverables Promote a culture of positive accountability to their tasks, providing guidance and leadership and some tactical involvement to ensure successful and on-time completion Performs other related duties as requested by leadership SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience and training. 5 – 7 years of experience in a Mid to Senior level Product Marketing Role in a B2B start-up Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire people outside of a direct reporting structure Comfortable utilizing modern CRM, Project Management, and communications systems like Salesforce.com, Monday.com, Marketo, Microsoft Office, PowerBi Must be a player-coach, wearing both “execution” and “strategic” hat Communication proficiency in person, video, email, or chat to take complex problems and simplify for the audience Ability to manage, prioritize and execute multiple projects in parallel Results driven with knowledge of the KPIs to drive pipeline across the business Strong proficiency with sales and agile product processes for Software as a Service (SaaS) Extensive sales/marketing experience developing and validating position, category creation, messaging, and competitive segmentation for GTM strategies The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000.
