Job Overview

As a pivotal member of our community, the Lifestyle Director is tasked with enhancing the resident experience by orchestrating engaging social activities in accordance with the policies set forth by the Board of Directors. This role requires adaptability to accommodate a variety of events, particularly during evening and weekend hours from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.

Key Responsibilities

  • Propose, coordinate, and execute ongoing community events and activities.
  • Collaborate closely with committees, clubs, and resident groups, ensuring responsiveness to their needs.
  • Schedule and oversee all regular activities within the community.
  • Plan and organize special events, parties, and day trips, drawing upon resident input.
  • Engage performers, negotiate contracts, and coordinate necessary arrangements for programming.
  • Publicize all events and maintain a comprehensive calendar of activities, including designing promotional materials.
  • Explore innovative ideas to introduce new activities that pique resident interest.
  • Maintain financial records for community social activities and prepare monthly financial reports for various accounts.
  • Participate in social committee meetings and prepare monthly reports for the Manager/Lifestyle Supervisor outlining planned activities and addressing any issues.
  • Ensure proper room setups for events and assist with the smooth operation of the Association.
  • Coordinate New Homeowner Orientation and clubhouse tours while managing the community calendar for clubs and private events.
  • Facilitate monthly Lab Corp scheduling and assist residents in learning various games.
  • Oversee the stocking of the café.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Friendly demeanor and willingness to assist residents.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • A solid customer service orientation.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional appearance suitable for a business casual environment (no T-shirts or jeans).
