Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lifestyle Director to enhance our community’s living experience through the organization of engaging social activities. This role is pivotal in fostering a vibrant community atmosphere, working closely with residents and various committees to ensure their needs are met and interests are sparked.

Key Responsibilities

  • Propose, coordinate, and implement a variety of ongoing events and activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with committees, clubs, and resident groups to understand and respond to their needs.
  • Schedule and oversee all ongoing activities while demonstrating flexibility for occasional evening and weekend events.
  • With input from residents, design and plan special events, parties, programs, and day trips.
  • Contact and negotiate with performers, manage contracts, and arrange necessary details for events.
  • Publicize all activities and maintain a comprehensive calendar of community events.
  • Create event flyers and send engaging eblasts regarding upcoming events.
  • Investigate and introduce innovative activities that resonate with residents’ interests.
  • Manage the association’s social activity accounts and prepare monthly financial reports for various activity accounts.
  • Participate in social committee meetings to discuss ongoing initiatives and provide feedback.
  • Prepare monthly reports for the Manager/Lifestyle Supervisor detailing planned activities and any operational challenges.
  • Supervise room setups for events and maintain a community calendar that includes private events and club activities.
  • Collaborate with the community manager on various initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A friendly and supportive demeanor in interactions with residents.
  • Strong organizational capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • A robust customer service orientation.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Appropriate professional attire suitable for an informal business environment (no T-shirts or jeans).
