Job Overview
The Lifestyle Director plays a pivotal role in enhancing the community experience by organizing and facilitating an array of social activities tailored to the needs and interests of residents. This position operates under the guidelines set forth by the Board of Directors and requires a commitment to creating a vibrant community atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Propose, organize, and oversee a variety of ongoing events and activities.
- Collaborate closely with committees, clubs, and other groups to understand and respond to their needs.
- Maintain a comprehensive schedule of all ongoing activities.
- Plan special events, parties, programs, and day trips with input from residents.
- Engage performers, negotiate contracts, and coordinate necessary arrangements for events.
- Publicize activities and manage a calendar of events.
- Design promotional materials, including event flyers, and disseminate information through eblasts.
- Explore innovative ideas and introduce activities that resonate with residents.
- Manage social activity accounts for the Association.
- Prepare deposits and monthly financial reports for various clubs.
- Attend social committee meetings and provide updates to the Manager/Lifestyle Supervisor.
- Ensure proper room setups for events.
- Maintain a community calendar that includes clubs and private events.
- Work directly with the community manager.
- Facilitate New Homeowner Orientation and clubhouse tours.
- Schedule Lab Corp hours monthly and assist residents in learning various games.
- Ensure the café is adequately stocked.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor in interactions with residents.
- Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- A solid commitment to customer service.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Appropriate attire for an informal business setting (no T-shirts or jeans).
