We are seeking a results-driven individual to join our team as the Manager of Contracts and Negotiations. This role will primarily focus on optimizing our sales team's success through effective contract management and negotiations with prospective clients. In addition, the position will oversee the contract renewal and amendment process for our existing client base. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of sales and client dynamics, be proficient in contract law, have a meticulous attention to detail, possess excellent negotiation skills, and be adept at managing the contract lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the administration of contracts, including monitoring performance, ensuring compliance, and addressing any issues or disputes that may arise.
- Establish and maintain an efficient contract management system to track all sales-related contracts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contracts, contract templates, proposal templates and related documentation.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive contract management system to track all contracts throughout their lifecycle.
- Personally draft and/or supervise any direct reports responsible for making contract changes, amendments, and updates as required.
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with contractual agreements and propose strategies for risk mitigation.
- Support in-house counsel in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all contracts and ensure contracts align with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with the commercial, operations and risk teams to understand business objectives, provide guidance during negotiations, and align contract terms with business goals and objectives.
- Drives contract execution by performing initial review of changes made by client, preparing contracts for signature, fostering internal communication, facilitating approval processes, and maintaining contracts database.
- Facilitate contract negotiations between commercial team and prospective clients to secure favorable terms, pricing, and conditions.
- Be proficient with strategic negotiation techniques to maximize value and maintain positive relationships.
- Cultivate strong relationships with RealManage leaders in sales and operation, key association attorneys, clients, and partners to enhance collaboration and foster a positive working environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align contract terms with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Law, or a related field; or legal certification is a plus.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in contract management and negotiations, preferably in the Association Management or Real Estate Management sector.
- Strong understanding of legal principles, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency in Salesforce is a plus
