Job Description
The Concierge Director oversees all Front Desk daily operations, including management of 8-10 concierge team
members for a 44-story luxury high-rise condominium tower in downtown Austin.
Candidates should enjoy working with people and thrive in a fast-paced environment. As the first point of contact for
residents and vendors, a professional appearance and polished communication skills are critical for success. This is a
salaried position and the typical workweek is 40 hours, Monday – Friday. Frequently, the director must be available to
answer employee phone calls outside of scheduled working hours i.e., night and weekends. At times, they will be
available to cover unscheduled absences outside of scheduled workdays. Customer, vendor, and employee interactions
will regularly occur in person, by phone, and virtually.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all concierge operations ensuring the community is satisfied with their amenity offering.
- Provide exceptional Customer Service by exceeding resident’s expectations and their needs.
- Supervise team members performance providing mentoring when necessary. Ensures delivery of unsurpassed
homeowner service and managerial leadership.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Train team members by completing orientation and provides ongoing direction and feedback.
- Complete daily inspections using checklists to ensure cleanliness.
- Responsible for a thorough understanding and effective performance of BuildingLink.
- Greeting residents, guests, and vendors according to company standards.
- Promptly answer, record, and complete all resident requests, phone calls, questions, or concerns.
- Monitoring and securing the lobby.
- Complete requests for service, such as but not limited to dry-cleaning pick-up and drop-off, petwalking,
housekeeping, grocery delivery, etc.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including company grooming standards.Display a positive and
enthusiastic attitude by being a team player
Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn the use of property management software
- Excellent communication skills – both oral and written
- Strong multi-tasking skills a must
- Strong ability to assess a situation, demonstrate good judgment, and resolve conflicts
- Attentive to details with excellent follow-through skills
- Flexible and organized
- Able to work under pressure
- Dependable and detail-oriented
- Strong customer service skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, consistent with
the needs of the property
Education And Experience
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a customer service or luxury
hospitality industry
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Completed college courses or Bachelor degree a plus

- Experience working with demanding clientele
- Hospitality, luxury residential or luxury retail experience a plus
