Description

Join a winning team at Taylor Management Company as we seek a dedicated portfolio manager in Whippany, NJ. This role is essential for overseeing community management and ensuring the smooth operation of our portfolio communities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the community management industry.
  • Ability to accept, create, prepare, and submit work orders to schedule maintenance and repair crews.
  • Regular inspection of grounds and buildings within the portfolio communities.
  • Respond to trustee inquiries and attend monthly meetings as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with owners/residents and the board of trustees through various means to resolve administrative issues.
  • Address inquiries from unit owners regarding common areas, conflicts, and resolutions with the board of trustees.
  • Coordinate capital projects and review monthly financial reports for trustee distribution.
  • Ensure each condominium has current and adequate master insurance policy coverage.
  • Prepare and conduct annual election meetings.
  • Collaborate in budget planning and review annual budgets with the board of trustees for approval.
  • Review and approve bills for each property in the portfolio.
  • Enforce rules and regulations of each condominium according to established procedures.
  • Solicit bids/services from contractors to meet the needs of condominiums.
  • Maintain appropriate physical and electronic files for project condominium records and detailed incident reports.
  • Be available for emergency calls 24⁄7.
  • Generate monthly delinquency reports and follow up with necessary actions, including collection procedures.
  • CAI Certifications are a plus, but not required.
