The Customer Care Specialist I - V+ role serves as a link between AppFolio and the customer, operating as the face of our company to create AppFolio promoters within the property management industry.
The Customer Care Specialist I, V+ will be responsible for providing excellent support to our Screening & FolioGuard customers. This role will help drive the understanding and adoption of these services, and will collaborate with the Customer Care V+ team to develop creative solutions to best meet our customers needs.
Your impact
The hourly wage that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $20.50 - $25.50 per hour.
The actual base salary/hourly wage for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc.
Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses/commissions that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.

Your impact
- Engage with customers by means of telephone, email, and chat to manage customer relationships and to ensure successful execution of requests pertaining to our Screening & Folioguard customers.
- Deliver service excellence to existing customers utilizing our Screening & Guard offerings.
- Educate customers on best practices and drive adoption.
- Share valuable insights directly with our Product Development team based on customer feedback.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks with response time expectations in mind.
- Organized and effective in task and queue management.
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely with team, manager, and customers via phone, chat, and email.
- Seeks out feedback and uses mistakes as a platform to learn and grow.
- Exceptional customer relationship building skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong customer orientation.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive information.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required.
