Job Description

The Community Manager Learning Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting the Learning and Development Team, and our Texas branch operations by creating and performing needs assessments for the organization and recommending the learning & development programs and collateral needed for the functioning of the organization. Additionally, the Specialist will work with new Community Managers to train and educate on industry, systems, and processing best practices. The Specialist would also contribute to the design and facilitation of both live and online training and contribute to online content curation and learner engagement.

  • Gather information from SMEs and Development Team to design content and learning materials for classroom, web, and online learning.
  • Develop a CAM onboarding plan with Operations and the L&D Team designed to improve the Community Manager onboarding experience.
  • Execute training sessions and learning activities with new Community Managers based on the onboarding plan.
  • Provide feedback on the learning and onboarding experience to Operations through L&D leadership for needed improvements.
  • Develop assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of programs.
  • Interface with home office, branch and CSSC leadership to include directors, managers, and supervisors as necessary in the development and production of learning programs and tools.
  • Catalog and maintain learning content in Degreed.
  • Use data to analyze programs and make recommendations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, SharePoint) at a proficient level
  • Instruction Design for live and virtual training
  • Design software (please specify all of the following that apply): Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Audition, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat) Storyline, Audacity
  • Public speaking and webinar hosting
  • Exceptional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.)
  • Professional appearance and conduct
  • Professional customer service skills
  • Project Management at a proficient level
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years of recent or current Community Management experience in Associa
  • 3 years of training experience or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • CPLP preferred
  • CMCA Designation
