Join our team! Leland Management is seeking a experienced Covenants Manager for one of its communities in the Orlando area. The position is full-time Monday thru Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, The position is full time with great benefits.
Job Scope
The Covenants Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the association’s covenants enforcement. This position requires a high level of organization, customer service, and time management skills. This position interacts daily with residents and community volunteers, often in a position as a rule enforcer, which requires tact and a soft-handed approach to achieve desired results.
Areas Of Responsibility
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service to all inquiries, including educating residents on Covenants rules and regulations.
- Be familiar with the Community’s Design Standard Manual, including knowledge of Florida landscaping, plants, building material, and design and architectural terminology.
- Send Covenants determination letters to homeowners within 48 hours from the voting decision of the Committee, and which is reflected in the meeting minutes.
- Act as central coordinator and record-keeper for all covenants related inquiries, including, but not limited to, violation notices and related processes, regular Committee meetings, meeting notices, meeting minutes, etc.
- Log, record, and maintain all records related to Covenants activity, including records in the Caliber system.
- Tour the property on an ongoing and continual basis performing property and common area inspections. Report common area repairs needed to Community Manager.
- Inspect all 1,065 lots within a month’s time by touring the Villages in quadrants: 1) Grosvenor, Hamilton, and Northshore (245 lots); 2) Bedford, Cambridge, Kensington, and Tibet Butler Drive (289 lots); 3) Brookline, Hampton, Lyndhurst, Montrose, and Somerset (251 lots); and 4) Huntingdon, Muirfield, The Gardens, and The Greens (280 lots).
- Ensure timely escalation of covenant violations through the standard enforcement process. Exceptions to the process may be authorized by the Covenants Committee or Community Manager, including self-help remedies and fast-tracking to hearings.
- Conduct hearings for non-monetary; assist Community Association Manager in monetary and special hearings.
- Apply/lift sanctions within 48 hours of Covenants meeting. Submit violations to the standard covenant's enforcement process.
- Assist the Community Manager with the other Committees as needed.
- Special projects and other responsibilities as assigned by the Community Manager.
