Job Description

 

The Covenants Inspector plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in the context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Inspecting the community for maintenance, landscaping, safety, compliance issues, and architectural design processes. Under moderate supervision, work will involve contact with homeowners and board members.

 

Requirements

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

 

  • Investigate and enforce property codes within boundaries.
  • Notify responsible parties of code issues given in writing, by phone, in person and electronically.
  • Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of complaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues.
  • Schedule and perform Annual Comprehensive Inspections to maintain or achieve minimum property standards.
  • Process Design Review Applications in accordance with the guidelines.
  • Perform on-site inspections to be included in design review documentation.
  • Perform monthly safety inspections and maintaining safety checklists for each amenity area to include the Clubhouse, Wellness Center, Sugar Beet Market, Comfort Stations, and indoor and outdoor pools.
  • Maintain property and unit files.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Knowledge And Skills

 

  • Professional customer service and communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.)
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and forms.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)
  • Knowledge of architectural plans and/or drawings.
