Job Description

The Covenants / Code Enforcement Associate plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in the context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary with designated communities and may include, but are not limited to: Inspecting properties for maintenance, landscaping, safety, and compliance issues and accurately recording findings.

Please note: This position is Part time 20-24 hours a week. The schedule for this position can be negotiated between the hours of 9-5 M-F

Duties include but are not limited to:

Covenants / Code Enforcement Associate

  • Notify responsible parties of code issues given in writing, by phone, in person and electronically.
  • Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of complaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues.
  • Investigate and enforce property codes within boundaries.
  • Process architectural applications for exterior modifications.
  • Process invoices for payment.
  • Filing, making copies and other general office tasks on a daily and as needed basis.
  • Schedule and perform systematic property maintenance inspections to maintain or achieve minimum property standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures and forms.
  • Able to work effectively with Board of Directors, Committee members, residents, and other staff members.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)
  • Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of architectural plans and/or drawings at a proficient level.
  • Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
  • Professional customer service skills.
  • Must have personal vehicle and be physically capable of performing community wide inspections.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
  • 0-3 years of directly related or closely related experience
