Job Description
We are currently seeking an in-house Corporate Recruiter to join our team and be responsible for our full-cycle recruiting.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Full cycle recruitment for the New York region including face-to-face interviewing candidates.
- Cultivate and maintain ongoing strong working relationships with management in order to understand the business units, facilitate workforce planning strategies understand staffing needs, and create a partnership that ensures a smooth hiring process.
- Develop and maintain an effective communication process with hiring managers; from the requisition process through the interview process and to the offer and acceptance stage.
- Determine search strategies and implement recruiting strategies best suited per open position.
- Manage the applicant/candidate process.
- Source candidate skills through networking, internet postings, job boards, LinkedIN, resume search database, and applicant tracking system. Any given time there can be 15-40 positions open.
- Coordinate pre-assessment testing and utilize results to assist managers in management strategies for their team.
- Work with hiring managers to obtain approval on position requisitions while developing team recruiting strategy.
- Evaluate skill level; perform first round interviews (in-person and virtual) and schedule additional rounds with hiring managers based upon first round interview assessment.
- Ensure hiring manager and team preparedness during the interview process and that interviews are conducted efficiently and professionally.
- Build pipeline of qualified candidates for recurring position requisitions and ensure constant communication with those qualified.
- Compile and update reports for job openings and hires and post-hire summaries for hiring managers.
- Maintain employee referral program and process referral payments.
- Manage offer process including; salary recommendations, reference checks, offer letter generation, offer acceptance/declines and background checks.
- Utilize ATS to open requisitions and route potential candidates that apply to hiring managers.
- Participate in process development and process improvement teams.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competition in order to remain competitive with the industry.
- Understand, embrace and model FirstService Residential culture, leadership principles and FirstService Residential philosophies both internally with fellow team members and externally to clients. Stay in touch with FirstService Residential company objectives and current issues.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 3-5 years of proven recruiting experience in a corporate environment implementing a wide range of staffing programs, or 3+ years experience at a recruiting agency.
- Knowledge of EEO, ADA and employment laws.
- Proven organizational skills with attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.
- Ability to be assertive and handle customer relationship management, provide strong customer consultative skills and work in a large-team environment.
- Effective strategic thinking, cross group collaboration, and oral/written/persuasive communication skills required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy. Teamwork skills are a must, along with the ability to grasp new technologies including PC proficiency in MS office, including Word and Excel.
- Experience with an ATS; ADP Recruiting Management preferred.
