CONTROLLER – Seven Canyons Golf (Sedona, AZ)

HOAMCO has an immediate opening for a full-time Controller who will direct and oversee the financial activities of the company, prepare financial reports and summaries, and create forecasts predicting future growth. Qualifications And Skills

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance with a minimum 3-year accounting experience.
  • Detail-oriented and excellent attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Able to prioritize daily duties.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dependable, organized, motivated, and trustworthy.
  • Superior customer service skills and a great attitude.

 

Duties And Responsibilities (but Not Limited To)

 

  • Prepare and analyze accurate and timely financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, owner reports, and sales tax returns.
  • Review daily cash activities and balances for accuracy and accountability.
  • Monitor financial and operating performance compared to budget.
  • Review processes and suggests improvements to current methods.
  • Work with President and General Manager to coordinate planning and establish priorities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with independent auditors.
  • Supervise accounting staff.

 

Selected candidates are subject to pre-hire proficiency tests.
