Job Description
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records and account personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.
This position can be located in either our Orlando or Miami offices and is fully in-person.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the CEO/President of Residential Aquatics, the Controller is responsible for all accounting and financial aspects of our Residential Aquatics Florida Markets This will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Responsible for all accounting and reporting activities including month-end, annual close, and balance sheet reconciliations with adherence to US GAAP
- Analyze financial performance, informing management of trends and variances, with driving accountability to results (budget, forecast, etc.)
- Provide leadership and support to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable departments
- Manage the general ledger
- Partnering with the Managing Directors for the preparation and review of internal financial reporting data to aid in decision-making- KPI, margin analysis, spend metrics, and other ad hoc reporting
- Ensure company-wide adherence to corporate and accounting policies in a SOX-compliant environment
- Maintain written standard operating procedures for each of the ongoing finance work streams that support the business
The following are to serve as a base guideline for the initial screening of candidates for the position:
Background and Relevant Work Experience:
• 7+ years of gradually increasing accounting experience, most recently in a financial results oversight role.
• Mid-size public or private company experience
• Prepared to work very hands-on
• Strong proficiency in US GAAP
• Internal audit experience
• Salesforce experience preferred
Documented Hands-on Experience:
• Forecasting and budgeting
• Computer skills – Microsoft products, and advanced Excel skills are very important
• Out-of-the-box implementation of processes

Minimum Education Standards:
