Job Description

Requirements

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide safe, reliable, courteous, and efficient transportation service to our residents off-campus.
  • Prepare the bus for operation; keep it clean and properly maintained, including fueled at all times.
  • Responsible for providing a positive first and last impression to residents/guests when they arrive and leave the community by attending to resident and guest vehicles.
  • Parks and retrieves vehicles in a safe and timely manner. Notifies residents and administration personnel of visitor or applicant arrival.
  • Answering the phone promptly and providing accurate information.
  • Grant access to guests at the main elevators.
  • Post-up outside to provide prompt service, open vehicle doors for the residents and guests, assist loading and unloading vehicles of residents and guests.
  • Deliver luggage, groceries, and any drop-offs to the resident’s units.
  • Log incoming mail and packages appropriately and deliver to designated units.
  • Assist the fitness coach in the Wellness Center at designated times to transition between classes.
  • Booking guestrooms for residents’ family and/or friends, checking guests in and out, and billing them accordingly.
  • Log occupied guestrooms for housekeeping in the morning and report occupied guestrooms to resident safety officers at the end of the day.
  • Set-up tables, chairs, audio/video system, and any other required equipment for events, meetings, and special interest groups responsibly.
  • Collect and store rummage sale items donated by the residents. A couple of days before the rummage sale, you will be needed to bring down and empty all rummage sale closets.
  • When Resident Services Administrative Assistant is out: Keep track of event and trip sign-up sheets, assists residents with signing up for events appropriately, and give correct and appropriate information regarding the events.
  • Valet services: Retrieve and park appropriate vehicles for residents responsibly. Keep track of which vehicles are being retrieved and parked.
