Job Description

Rancho La Quinta Country Club is looking for an enthusiasticSeasonal Concierge. The Concierge is an important position as it relates to Rancho La Quinta Country Club and Club Operations (the club). This is the first contact people have with the club, either in person or by phone. For this reason, the individual is to have a professional image at all times.

Requirements

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for all incoming and outgoing mail and preparing all mailings.
  • Responsible to see that the "Welcome" signs are changed daily and extra back up signs are prepared and keep in the back office.
  • When it is necessary provide prospective homeowners or members with membership information and provide tours of the facilities.
  • Make sure enough membership packets are copied and kept on hand.
  • Take reservations for any and all events that are occurring, either within the club or sponsored by the club and type up the reservations as needed, as well as typing up reservation sheets in order to keep said reservations.
  • Update the bulletin boards of the club and make sure that past events are included in the "events book."
  • When Administration Secretary is not in or unavailable, this position will be required to do the club's deposit for the previous day's monies collected by departments in the club.
  • Help each department within the club as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must be availableFriday – Monday
  • Proper telephone manners and appearance are important.
    • Good communication a must.
    • Proficient in excel and Microsoft suite
      • Experience with Canva, Adobe, photo editing/social media managing experience is advantageous for candidate to know.
      • Customer service oriented.
  • Wage Range: $16.00 - $19.00 an hour depending on experience.
