Job Description
A concierge is a customer service employee who works in a high-rise community. They are the primary point of contact for the business and are available to guests/customers at all times. They are considered to be upscale, high-end information desk employees. The concierge will need a strong familiarity with the surrounding area to provide directions. The concierge also provides other services for residents, such as receiving packages at the front desk or ensuring that a resident’s dry cleaning is picked up or dropped off.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Welcomes guests/new customers to facility.
- Performs various administrative/managerial tasks in support of the facility's mission.
- Creates a positive guest experience by addressing needs and answering questions.
- Create reservations for residents to use building amenities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) At a proficient level.
- Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
- Professional customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
- Time management and time-critical prioritization skills.
Requirements
Education and experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1 – 3 years of directly related or closely related experience
Working conditions
- Non-typical office environment (frequent standing, walking, talking, etc.), both inside and outside activities
- And outside activities.
- Overtime may be required (on-call, weekends, 24-hour emergency, etc.)
- Frequent social interaction
