Job Description

 

Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for ensuring that all aspects of property management comply with rules, regulations, and industry standards? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Compliance Manager to join our team.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to property management.
  • Implement and oversee the company’s compliance policies, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of properties to identify and address any potential compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including staff, maintenance, and accounting, to establish and enforce compliance processes throughout he organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and industry best practices to ensure the company remains in compliance with evolving regulations.
  • Prepare and submit accurate compliance reports to management and regulatory authorities as required.
  • Investigate and respond to compliance-related inquiries, complaints, or incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work closely with property manager to provide guidance on compliance-related matters and assist in resolving compliance-related challenges.

 

Requirements

 

Requirements:

 

  • Valid Florida Community Association Manager (LCAM) license preferred.
  • Proven experience of 3+ years as a Compliance Manager in property management or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to property management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply complex legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a track record of ensuring compliance within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve compliance objectives.
  • Proficiency in using compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to anticipate compliance issues and implement proactive solutions.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record required.
