Compliance Inspector

The Compliance Inspector plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in the context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary with designated communities and may include, but are not limited to: Inspecting properties for homeowner compliance issues and accurately recording findings. This will also administer architectural review submissions and perform other general administrative duties

Compensation:

$19 hourly rate

Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are ot limited to:

  • Perform weekly inspections by driving throughout property identifying non-compliant matters on homeowner lots.
  • Notify responsible parties of code issues given in writing, by phone, in person and electronically.
  • Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of complaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues.
  • Investigate and enforce property codes within boundaries.
  • Attend monthly executive session meetings with the community manager.
  • Receive owner architectural submittals.
  • Review submittals for accuracy in accordance to the association's architectural guidelines.
  • Follow up with any committee direction.
  • Complete the meeting minutes and owner letters.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and forms.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance requirements (documentation, safety, required reporting,regulations, etc.)
  • Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of architectural plans and/or drawings at a proficient level.
  • Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
  • Professional customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
  • Time management and time-critical prioritization skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.

Education And Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • 0 – 3 years of directly related or closely related experience

Licenses and Certifications

  • Must have a reliable vehicle and be able to provide proof of a valid driver’s license and appropriate vehicle insurance.

Working Conditions

  • Typical office environment, occasional outside environment exposure while conducting compliance inspection.
