Job Description

This position is an entry level/new to the industry Community Manager role.

The Community Manager (Portfolio) is responsible for providing oversight and management to assigned community association(s)/properties. This position interacts with internal and external customers including homeowners, vendors, board members and committee members

This position is based out of our Ocean City, MD corporate office. However, travel to community properties would be required.

Duties and Responsibilities (may include but not limited to):

  • Acts as or oversee the primary liaison with the Association Board of Directors and homeowners
  • Oversee the administration of the Association in accordance with management agreement and the Association's policies and procedures.
  • Perform/Direct administrative and management duties as requested by the Board of Directors and in accordance with the management agreement.
  • Attend Board meetings per the management agreement and community events as needed.
  • Responsible for management of data base maintenance, including updating resident information
  • Maintain unit and contract files relating to the operations of the Association.
  • Review monthly financial reports and ensure management summary is submitted to the association Board of Directors.
  • Monitor client delinquency rates and collections process for community portfolios
  • Responsible for oversight to routine and special projects

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, strong time management skills
  • A good communicator, with the ability to build strong professional relationships
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and able to adapt to fast-changing situations
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player
  • 3+ years of customer service experience highly preferred
  • Some property/hotel industry experience a plus
  • Some supervisory/lead experience a plus
  • Experience and confidence using MS Office, software systems, and other basic IT equipment
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
