Our Community Standards Director is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Association’s Community Standards and Design Review with a strong focus on providing quality experiences for our residents.

About The Community

Everything comes together effortlessly at Mountain’s Edge Master Association. A culmination of a long-held dream by developer John A Ritter and his Focus Property Group Team, Mountain's Edge contains over 12,000 homes on 3,500 acres in the southwestern part of the Las Vegas Valley. Set in a spectacular desert canyon at the edge of the western foothills with much care to preserve the natural desert environment, this developer has incorporated more than 500 acres of open space, parks and trail systems that allow residents to enjoy their surroundings truly. What You’ll Accomplish

  • Maintaining a high degree of customer service in all resident inquiries and interactions
  • Enforce policies based upon the Governing Documents and interpret and enforce property maintenance codes and regulations
  • Provide information, assistance, materials and educate homeowners regarding their responsibility to adhere to the Community Standards and other Governing Documents
  • Work effectively with homeowners to resolve violation issues
  • Supervise, train and evaluate direct reports in accordance with CCMC standards
  • Create goals, objectives and recommendations to improve department efficiencies
  • Utilize SmartWebs for documentation of applications, tracking of deadlines, and processing of all letters to homeowners
  • Review architectural plans for completeness and accuracy
  • Prepare agendas and packets for meetings

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous community standards or community management experience
  • Someone who aligns with our vision and values
  • Must be able to communicate with homeowners regarding any questions, issues, disagreements or appeals that may be forthcoming
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to review architectural drawings and site plans
  • Computer proficiency with all standard office software (Microsoft Office) required
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to prioritize
  • Possess critical thinking and good problem-solving skills
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and negotiating powers in order to work well with a variety of personalities
  • Math and Accounting skills, including budgeting
  • Able to drive and have reliable transportation; a valid driver’s license is required
  • Prior experience with Homeowners Association governing documents such as CC&Rs is a plus
  • All potential employees must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • CAM license preferred (Required in Florida, Georgia and Nevada within six months of hire)
