Job Summary

 

As Community Operations Director, you will work with your fellow Director to oversee the day-to-day performance of our community operations team. You will report to the Vice President of Operations and have regular meetings with the leadership team to evaluate performance, employee satisfaction, client retention and satisfaction on deliverables. Both client and employee retention are critical components to our business and a primary focus of the Director’s role. For success in this seat, time management, prioritization and organization, effective communication, ability to read and interpret financial documents, and willingness to train new members to the team are all important characteristics to possess.

 

Requirements

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Director oversight over Community Transition in and out
  • Daily and Weekly Touch bases with Clients to improve relations and satisfaction
  • Partner with Senior Community Director on customer service reports
  • Mentor and guide team members, including providing training to new hires.
  • Make personnel decisions regarding hiring, development, promotion, and performance management of team members in accordance with company policies.
  • Establish positive relationships with stakeholders and other vendors at branch level.
  • Assist in resolution of escalated service items
  • Assist with management of strategic planning, business development, and fiscal operations at the branch level.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Knowledge and Skills

 

  • Knowledge of GAAP at a proficient level.
  • Knowledge in Customer Service
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at an expert level.
  • Knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at an expert level.
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
  • Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills.

 

Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 7 – 10 years of directly related or closely related experience
  • 5 - 7 years of Management and/or Supervisory experience
  • 5 – 7 years of Community Association experience
