Join a winning team at Taylor Management Company as we seek a portfolio manager in Whippany, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing community management operations while ensuring compliance and effective communication among all stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the community management industry.
- Accept, create, prepare, and submit work orders for maintenance and repairs.
- Inspect grounds and buildings of portfolio communities regularly.
- Respond to trustee inquiries and attend monthly meetings as necessary.
- Communicate with owners/residents and the board of trustees via various means to resolve administrative issues.
- Address unit owners’ inquiries concerning common areas and conflicts with the board of trustees.
- Coordinate capital projects and review monthly financial reports.
- Ensure adequate master insurance policy coverage for each condominium.
- Prepare and conduct annual election meetings and collaborate on budget planning.
- Review and approve bills for each property and enforce condominium rules and regulations.
- Solicit bids/services from contractors and maintain project records.
- Be available for emergency calls 24⁄7.
- Handle delinquency reports and collection procedures as needed.
- CAI certifications are a plus, but not required.
