Job Overview

Taylor Management Company is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Manager to oversee the administration, management, and operation of luxury high-rise buildings located in Hudson County, NJ. The ideal candidate will work in close collaboration with the Board of Directors to ensure a high standard of community living and governance while integrating the efforts of all personnel, vendors, and contractors associated with the Association.

This position is full-time & on-site | Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all policies, procedures, resolutions, and objectives set forth by the Board are effectively executed.
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the Association’s governing documents, rules, regulations, and legal obligations.
  • Take charge of the financial management aspects of the Association.
  • Prepare specifications for all services required by the Association.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with the Association’s rules and regulations.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and external contractors.
  • Attend all Board meetings to provide updates and insights.
  • Maintain a consistently positive attitude in all interactions.

Required Skills

  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English.
  • Robust project management skills.
  • Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Community Association (COA) or Homeowner Association (HOA) management.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in High-Rise Community Management.
  • Experience in Facility Management is preferred.
  • Industry certifications such as CMCA, AMS, PCAM, CPM, or ARM are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Availability for emergency calls on a 24⁄7 basis.
