Organize Social Activities for Community Association Residents

Job Description

As the Lifestyle Director for our community association, you will play a vital role in enhancing the overall experience for our residents. You will be responsible for organizing and facilitating various social activities and events, working closely with committees, clubs, and other groups, and ensuring the smooth operation of the association's social activities.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and Organize Ongoing Activities:
  • Propose, organize, and facilitate ongoing events and activities for residents.
  • Collaborate closely with committees, clubs, and other groups to meet their needs.
  • Schedule and coordinate all ongoing activities, ensuring a well-rounded calendar.
  • Plan and Execute Special Events:
  • Collaborate with residents to plan special events, parties, programs, and day trips.
  • Contact performers, negotiate contracts, and make necessary arrangements for the events.
  • Publicize all activities and events, creating event flyers and sending e-blasts.
  • Introduce New Activities:
  • Explore new ideas that interest residents and introduce new activities accordingly.
  • Maintain and update the Association's social activity accounts.
  • Prepare deposits and monthly financial reports for various activity accounts.
  • Collaborate with Community Manager:
  • Maintain the community calendar, including clubs and private events.
  • Assist the community manager in the orientation of new homeowners and clubhouse tours.
  • Schedule Lab Corp hours monthly and provide assistance in learning various games.
  • Ensure Smooth Operation:
  • Oversee room setups for events to ensure everything is in order.
  • Participate in social committee meetings and report any issues to the Manager/Lifestyle Supervisor.
  • Perform assigned activities necessary for the smooth operation of the Association.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Friendly and helpful manner in interactions with residents.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong sense of customer service.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Appropriate dress for an informal business environment.
