Sun Village is seeking a professional and upbeat Onsite Community Coordinator to join our office team! This position requires someone who is detail oriented but still SUPER friendly as you'll be dealing with residents every day. We are a large community and the ideal candidate will be someone with good computer skills and a basic understanding of Excel and Word.
Job Summary:
As a team member at Sun Village Onsite community management office, you will be able to utilize your administrative skills and customer service skills by greeting residents in person and on the phone, provide clear guidance about the community by answering questions, apply your computer and administrative skills by supporting other team members with sending maintenance work orders. This full-time position 35-40 per week offers an opportunity to enhance the value and lifestyle within our community.
Essential Duties & Job Responsibilities:
- Send work orders for landscaping and maintenance issues to staff and landscaping crew.
- Make copies for meetings, set up the meeting rooms for meetings.
- Assist general manager with printing meeting packets, welcome packets, and other special projects based on the needs of the community.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to explain community standards and guidelines clearly, tactfully, & professionally.
- Provide top-tier customer service to our residents and guests while always maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Answer incoming calls, update resident information, provide correct forms for residents to complete for requests, take messages, return emails and return phone calls within 24 hours addressing any concerns or questions regarding community inquiries.
Knowledge, Skills, & Proficiencies:
- Practice and adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards and safety protocols along with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Always conduct business with the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct.
- Ability to perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. This includes any range of special projects, tasks, or other related duties.
- Proficient in use of Outlook, Word, and Basic Excel.

Qualifications:
- 1+ years in Customer Service.
- Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills.
- Organized with strong attention to detail.
- Effectively communicates in both written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrates ability to take initiative, be independent and a self-starter.
Physical Requirements/ Working Environment:
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
- Must be able to sit and/ or stand for extended periods of time. Property walks may occur which includes lengthy walks on uneven surfaces.
- Willingness to ride along in a boat with a team member for lake front inspections.
