The Community Ambassador is responsible for administrative and front desk operations. Duties include, light cleaning, event registration, information dissemination, assisting patrons by phone, email, and in person, cafe' sales, administrative support to the Community Manager and Lifestyle Director, and occasional assistance with Lifestyle events.

About The Community

Durham Farms is an active family HOA with amenities to include a state-of-the-art Fitness Center, large resort style swimming pool, snack bar style cafe', and meeting spaces nestled into the beautiful hills of Hendersonville off of New Shackle Island Road. On site staff include the Community Manager, Lifestyle Director, Maintenance Associate, and Community Ambassadors.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Greeting all homeowners upon entry and answering questions regarding hours, facility information, services, and programs
  • Answering phone calls
  • Responding to emails and other correspondence in a timely manner
  • Performing opening / closing duties as assigned
  • Providing prospective homebuyers with tours of the amenities
  • Working closely with the team to facilitate communication and customer service goals
  • Operating on-site facilities, including the cafe', and ensuring inventory is well-managed, guests are served, and all health and safety standards are met

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of six months’ experience in a customer service environment
  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette
  • A positive, outgoing personality
  • Ability to work as a team player, effectively communicate verbally and in writing, and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Candidates must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and attend and community events as required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of employment and have reliable means of transportation as a personal vehicle may be required to perform certain responsibilities
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
