Schedule – In person at Office Monday-Friday, after 90 days in position, one day remote may be reviewed

Position Purpose

Provides positive leadership, vision and direction for property managers in the Division by defining and clearly communicating the priorities and tasks assigned to the group and individuals as instructed by the Division Manager. 
Interacts proactively with upper management, accounting, administrative and human resources staff to ensure Division’s cooperation and support of CMA’s successful growth. 
Position requires a flexible, multitasking self-starter who takes direction from Division Manager and delivers results in a professional and positive manner. 
Manages small portfolio of Associations. 

Major Tasks, Responsibilities And Key Accountabilities

Assisting portfolio managers in the day-to-day operations of their responsibilities including, but not limited to creating and scheduling training, assisting in financial management/research, administration coordination and other “back of office” tasks needed for managers and mentoring. 
Point of contact in manager capacity for small portfolio. 
Monitor all weekly manager reports to provide summary updates to Division Manager for issues that may need intervention or coordination with the manager. 
Proactively monitors client satisfaction and anticipates potential issues by attending meetings with CAM staff – both monthly meetings and Annual. Must attend all Annual meetings and attend at least 6 Board meetings with managers monthly. 
Coordinate coverage for property managers on PTO and serve as fill-in manager when needed. 
Coordinate response to homeowners from communities in the division – providing research and resolution on issues raised as a support to the manager – via phone calls, emails, and face-to-face when needed. 
Provide support to Transition for all properties exiting or entering the Division. 
Steps in as assigned manager for properties when needed. 
Assists the admin in office

Nature and Scope

Will be required to work from Destin office – this is not a remote position. 
Must attend evening meetings and visit properties with Division Manager as necessary. 
Interacts directly with corporate officers, Property Managers, Boards, homeowners and vendors, so clear and concise interpersonal communication skills are a must. 
Position demands accuracy and requires conflict resolution and decision-making skills. 
Must be highly organized and flexible in adjusting to an ever-changing workflow. 
Must have extensive knowledge in Fl Statute 718 and 720. 

Requirements

Education Required

Bachelors Degree, preferred. 
Holds an active CAM License per State Requirements. 
Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications. 
Proficiency using Vantaca Accounting Software. 
Proficiency using StrongRoom. 

Experience Required

Ten years of applicable work experience (not necessarily in property management). 
Five years of proven property management experience. 
Working knowledge of budgeting and accounting processes. 
Mentoring skills, motivational skills, project management skills, and professional presentation skills are critical to this role. 
Experience large-scale management highly encouraged. 

Environmental Job Requirements

Office Setting, appropriate business casual attire required. 
Physical demands involve processing, lifting & moving incoming & outgoing boxes (25 to 30 pounds). 
Lengthy periods of sitting, standing, bending, and stooping are required. 
In office required. Hybrid remote schedule may be available if approved by Supervisor, and subject to change.
