Job Summary
The Clubhouse Attendant is responsible for overseeing the functioning of the Clubhouse, enforcing the Clubhouse Rules, setting up and/or breaking down of setup requests, and other duties.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet all walk-ins and provide assistance to Residents/Guests as needed.
- Answers all calls and/or e-mails, distribute all messages, etc. from Residents, Board members, Staff, Vendors, etc. as required in a timely manner.
- Install barcodes for Residents as requested. Provide Administrative Assistant with completed form(s) and information needed to properly maintain the Resident’s records.
- Responsible for uploading and running the Saturday & Sunday slides in the Lobby monitor.
- Give a courtesy call to those Residents whose work orders have been opened for more than seven (7) days.
- Monitor the facility cameras whenever possible.
- Perform random walk-throughs the Clubhouse and Clubhouse grounds a minimum of three times a day to inspect for maintenance/janitorial issues, violations of the Clubhouse Rules, etc.

- Paved surfaces, sidewalks, and other walking surfaces
- Gates and fences

- Room Set-Ups
- Complete all set-up responsibilities as needed.
- Sideline any broken furniture and report it to Management.
- Sign in/out Association owned equipment (i.e. microphones, etc.). Inventory and inspect equipment for damage. Report any missing or damaged equipment.
- Inspect stage/dance floor after event use for damage, etc. Report any damage or issues to the last user immediately and inform Management and the Board.
- Clubhouse Rules
- Read and familiarize with the Clubhouse Rules. Maintain a copy easily available for reference.
- Address violation complaints as soon as possible. Note for the record.
- Enforce any violations of the Rules as instructed by Management or the Board. Document incidents that require follow up (i.e. a violation letter) and submit to the Administrative Assistant.
- Gym
- Return any misplaced weights/equipment to their proper storage position.
- Make sure that paper supplies, sanitizing spray, pull towels, etc. are supplied.
- Safety/Security – address any issues immediately when possible or report to proper entity.
- Complete accurate and detail incident report [complete all required information, take pictures, collect names of witness(es) if available, etc.] for any incident/accident in the Clubhouse or Clubhouse grounds. Immediately inform Management and the Board.
- Willingness to work overtime.
- Prepare weekly report and submit to General Manager.
- Any other duties as assigned by Management.
Education & Experience
- Five (5) or more years experience in the Hospitality Industry.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy: Word, Excel spreadsheets, and e-mail.
- Multiple language fluency is desirable.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies
Education/Training:
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
- Completion of College level courses with concentration in Business or Hospitality is strongly desirable.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
- Ability to lift 30 – 50 lbs.
- Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time.
- Walk and climb stairs.
- Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms.
- Communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.
- Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirement.
- Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
