Job Description

The Client Treasury Sr. Relationship Manager is responsible for a broad scope of treasury functions, including the management of the business developer group. Expectations of this role include making nationwide relationships with Associa’ s internal network of management companies, their teams, and Associa’ s group of partner banks. In addition, this individual must develop a comprehensive understanding of Associa’ s internal processes and controls to help facilitate the function of cash management for our client base. The ideal candidate will have a robust treasury background, be a people leader, highly organized, capable of creating effective business plans to increase revenue, increase brand loyalty, and improve customer satisfaction. Some of the main duties include leading and brainstorming with other business development staff to define the scope of the project, review requirements, approve timeframes, and manage results. This candidate will work well with other company managers to oversee the progress of business development within our treasury group.

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Build and understand our bank partnerships.
  • Negotiate with Bank partners as needed.
  • Manage the business development team and generate reporting.
  • Identify and develop new and existing referral sources to develop successful referring
  • relationships that drive revenue growth.
  • Actively identify and generate prospects through strategic sales strategies focusing on
  • customers in target markets.
  • Achieve revenue goals.
  • Maintain good working relationships with existing clients previously to enhance client retention and new sales through referrals and references.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
  • Professional customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
  • Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at an expert level.
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and the full range of the Microsoft suite of products.

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of Treasury experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years of banking, investment, or wealth management experience preferred.
  • Some sales experience
