Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organizedClient Accounting Administratorto join our team. This role supports the client accounting department by processing checks, assisting with annual billing, reconciling bank statements, and performing general accounting-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check Processing:
  • Receive, sort, and accurately process client payments.
  • Ensure timely deposit of checks and maintain records for audit purposes.
  • Annual Billing Support:
  • Assist in preparing and distributing annual client billing statements.
  • Verify the accuracy of billing data and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Bank Statement Reconciliation:
  • Reconcile bank statements for client accounts.
  • Identify and address discrepancies promptly.
  • Data Entry and Recordkeeping:
  • Input financial data into accounting software with precision.
  • Maintain organized records for reporting and compliance.
  • Communication:
  • Respond to basic client inquiries related to payments and statements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Support the accounting team with general administrative duties as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or a related field is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
