Job Description

The Client Accountant Specialist is responsible for working with client financials, accounts payable/receivable, financial audits and daily accounting operations. Serving as the primary liaison with Associa' s client shared service center the Client Accountant Specialist also regularly interacts with internal and external clients and vendors and may support operations and sales teams with specific accounting expertise.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Review, analyze and make appropriate adjustments to financial packages for multiple entities
  • Verify amounts and codes on various transactions for accuracy.
  • Analyze, interpret, and report financial performance to clients

Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

  • Evaluate, analyze, and prioritize data in various forms and formats
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures (US GAAP)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.)
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills
  • Professional customer service skills
  • Knowledge of client accounting
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Must be very detail oriented, possess excellent follow through, and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Provide CPA with necessary information for year end reporting and tax filings
  • Assist with financial set-up of transitioning clients
  • Maintain records filing system for access by multiple users
  • Identify, research, resolve and communicate accounting, auditing and operational issues.
  • Assist team members with daily accounting tasks
  • Assist on special accounting projects
  • Make sure charges are in alignment with client contracts
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • 3+ years of directly related or closely related experience

Travel Requirements:

  • Some local travel may be required (Spring Hill to Venice)

Working Conditions:

  • Typical office environment
