CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO) – HOAMCO (Prescott, AZ)

 

HOAMCO is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at our company headquarters located in Prescott, Arizona. Since 1991, HOAMCO (Homeowners Association Management Company) has successfully handled every aspect of community association management. We manage over 500 communities within seven states and continue to grow while servicing clients with our integrity and expertise. This position will report directly to our CEO. The CFO will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies and plans, policies, and processes that support the company's overall goals and objectives. The CFO will manage the accounting staff, ensure the accurate, timely and efficient delivery of financial information to the community managers, association Board members, and homeowners

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a CFO or senior financial management role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Excellent employer-employee communication skills both verbal and written
  • Leadership experience overseeing and developing accounting teams
  • Professional demeanor and dependability
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to prioritize competing tasks and balance projects and deadlines
  • CPA designation and/or MBA is preferred

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Supervise, mentor, and provide direction to the accounting staff who report to the CFO
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Proactively highlight any trends that require attention and work with the Executive Team to implement corrective actions and/or improvements
  • Oversee and be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of accounts payables, accounts receivables, collections, financial statements, and tax returns
  • Ensure financial quality control standards are met
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial information
  • Attend and present financial information at annual meetings as requested
  • Interact with Board members as necessary
