About Us: CantaMia at Estrella is an active adult 55+ community in Goodyear, Arizona. Our central hub, the 29,000-square-foot Village Center, features a state-of-the-art fitness center with an aerobics studio, indoor and outdoor pools, and a spa. The Village Center also includes a new Café where residents and guests can enjoy a variety of food and beverages. We are currently seeking a cook to join our team and work onsite within this Café.
Position Summary: The cook will be primarily responsible for preparing and cooking food for guests and residents while ensuring that the service area remains clean and organized.

Position Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food for hot and cold line service.
- Assist in developing menus.
- Clean and maintain par levels for all usable products.
- Log all necessary information related to daily operations.
- Order and manage inventory.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational and tracking skills.
- Ability to interact positively and effectively with residents, guests, and staff at all levels.
- Capacity to work collaboratively within the department and with other departments.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, squat, and lift up to 30+ pounds.
- Professional attire required; may include wearing a uniform.
- Shifts are primarily evenings and weekends; flexibility is essential.
